Hey hey. Just found this site and I see it just getting started. Nice to find a site dedicated to my favorite cars. Thought I would join and contribute.
Here is my car, a 1996 Seville SLS.
I'm an 18 year old college student in San Jose, CA and this is my first car. Had it about 6 months now, going on 7. I love it. It only had 72K miles on it when it was given to me. It is such a smooth ride and the Northstar V8 has serious balls. I had plans of having it painted, putting a new sound system, rims.. (You know, "pimping" it out. LOL) but I go to school at SJ City College and play football so I don't have time for a full time job, as such I am perennially broke. So much for that. Either way the car still turns heads and I'm fortunate to have it!
Well anyways, that's my introduction and that's my Caddy. Good to be here! |

| Welcome to the site and nice ride. You don't often see too many 18 year olds who are not into the "tuner" imports. |

Yeah, me and my friends have a car club called "408 Legends". All my friends have little imports that they race on the weekends.
I don't like them though. First of all I barely fit in most of those cars (I'm 6'5'' and 290 lbs) and they just sound so pathetic! There
is nothing better then the sound of a V8 as far as I'm concerned. I always wanted a muscle car, like a Judge GTO or a Boss Mustang... ahhhh.... but that isn't happening anytime soon. Honestly I never thought much of Cadillac until the SLS was given to me for my HS graduation, but I have really learned to love it. |

Yea, my first car (hand me down) when I was 16 in 1980 was a 1974 CDV. Monster car with a 472 ci engine. (thats 7.7L in todays lingo) Great car on the highways and drive-ins, but not much for being handling corners.
After it I bought a 1973 Nova and then a 1968 Corvette Conv after I turned 18. |
